ho appena ascoltato Marquee 19.09.72, l'interpretazione è bellissima ma la qualità è un B. Ci sono migliori registrazioni? E di Time Table? Grazie.

When a friend of mine from Genoa told me he knew the guy who had recorded this wonderful show (incl. the only documented live Seven Stones), I wasn't much impressed: I had my copy of BURP 008 and thought it couldn't be better than that.
He asked the guy to digitize a copy from his Master all the same, and when he gave it to me, this time I WAS impressed.
The sound is much brighter, it brings virtually no hiss so doesn't need any work of EQ.
I decided to share it with you, with a special eye to purists.
It's not like comparing it to a perfect recording, but it surely sounds better than any other version I've heard before. It still is of a mediocre quality, just a little less mediocre...
Enough with my bantering: here is the Master recording of the Genoa show. You be the judge.

abbastanza soddisfacente anche occorre sapersi accontentare.

credo che time table non sia mai stata eseguita dal vivo ma aspetta a prendere per buona la notizia.
magari magog ci fa una sorpresa ...

Seven Stones: oltre che a GE, mai eseguita.
Peccato solo che la dedica "al piccolo Phobe, che tra poco farà dieci mesi" sia saltata dalla registrazione. [:D]

Can-Utility: interessano solo fonti lossless o vanno bene anche MP3?

Il boot di Genova comunque non si sente male.
Per Can c'e' la versione embrionale chiamata se non sbaglio Bye Bye Johnny reperibile a Pavia e/o verona (memoria atroce...) ma la qualita' e' quella che e'...
